Born 8/29/80 … full name is Christopher David Simms … a history major … a sports junkie who watches virtually any sporting event … also enjoys and appreciates the history of sports … has a video archive of great moments and games, particuliarly in professional football … is fascinated by Wall Street … very active in Longhorn community service efforts … son of former New York Giants star quarterback Phil Simms, the MVP of Super Bowl XXI in 1987 … Phil is the Giants’ all-time leading passer, completing 2,576-of-4,647 passes for 33,462 yards and 199 TDs and currently is CBS’ lead color commentator for NFL games … his 15 seasons with the Giants (1979-93) also is a club record.
