Former Longhorns performances during the second week of the NFL season

Eleven former Longhorns saw action during the second week of the National Football League season last weekend. Below is a summary of each player's performances.

	Taje Allen, CB Kansas City Chiefs Allen played and recorded one solo tackle in the Chiefs' 13-3 loss to the New York Giants.
	Chris Carter, S Cincinnati Bengals Carter registered 12 tackles (nine on defense/three on special teams) and one pass defensed in the Bengals' 21-10 upset victory against the defending Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens.
	Phil Dawson, PK Cleveland Browns Dawson connected on all three of his extra point attempts and was good on a 33-yard field goal in the Browns' 24-14 victory against the Detroit Lions.
	Priest Holmes, RB Kansas City Chiefs Holmes rushed for 30 yards on eight carries and caught three passes for 17 yards in the Chiefs' 13-3 loss to the New York Giants.
	Dan Neil, OG Denver Broncos Neil helped lead the way for a Broncos offense that produced 381 total yards (147 rush/234 pass) in their 38-17 victory against the Arizona Cardinals. The Broncos offensive line allowed only one sack in the 21-point victory.
	Cedric Woodard, DE Seattle Seahawks Woodard saw action the Seahawks' 27-3 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and registered one tackle and a forced fumble in the first quarter.

	Blake Brockermeyer, OT Chicago Bears Brockermeyer started the 88th game of his NFL career and helped lead the Bears to 284 yards of total offense in their 17-10 upset victory against the Minnesota Vikings.
	Leonard Davis , OG Arizona Cardinals Davis started at right guard in his first NFL contest and helped lead the Cardinals offense to 308 total yards (84 rush/224 pass) in their 38-17 loss to the Denver Broncos.
	Shane Dronett, DT Atlanta Falcons Dronett started and recorded three tackles (two solo) in the Falcons' 24-16 victory against the Carolina Panthers.
	Wane McGarity, WR/PR Dallas Cowboys McGarity caught five passes for 40 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown in the second quarter, in the Cowboys' 32-21 loss to the San Diego Chargers.
	Shaun Rogers, DT Detroit Lions Rogers, making his second consecutive start to begin his NFL career, posted a career-high 10 tackles (eight solo) in the Lions' 24-14 loss to the Cleveland Browns. The Detroit defense limited the Browns offense to 257 total yards and only 118 passing yards.
