Former Longhorns performances during the fifth week of the NFL season

Twelve former Longhorns saw action during the fifth week of the National Football League season last weekend. Below is a summary of each player's performances.

Taje Allen Taje Allen, CB
Kansas City Chiefs

Allen registered three tackles (all solo) in the Chiefs' 20-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Phil Dawson Phil Dawson, PK
Cleveland Browns

Dawson booted a pair of extra points in the Browns' 24-14 loss at the Cincinnati Bengals. He has accounted 33 points (9-for-9 PATs/8-of-11 FGs) in five games this season.
Shane Dronett Shane Dronett, DT
Atlanta Falcons

Dronett started and posted two solo tackles in the Falcons' 37-31 overtime loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Priest Holmes Priest Holmes, RB
Kansas City Chiefs
Holmes posted his second 100-yard rushing day in the last three weeks when he registered 150 yards on only 20 carries in the Chiefs' 20-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He added touchdown runs of 26 and one yard in the fourth quarter and hauled in three passes in the three-point loss.
Dan Neil Dan Neil, OG
Denver Broncos

Neil helped lead the Broncos offense to 291 total yards (92 rush/189 pass) in their 34-21 loss at the Seattle Seahawks.
Cedric Woodard Cedric Woodard, DE
Seattle Seahawks

Woodard played but did not record any statistics in the Seahawks' 34-21 victory against the Denver Broncos.
Blake Brockermeyer Blake Brockermeyer, OT
Chicago Bears

Brockermeyer helped lead the Bears offense to 253 total yards (137 rush/116 pass) in their 20-13 victory against the Arizona Cardinals. The Chicago offensive line did not allow a sack in the seven-point win.
Chris Carter Chris Carter, S
Cincinnati Bengals

Carter saw action and posted one solo tackle in the Bengals' 24-14 victory against the Cleveland Browns.
Leonard Davis Leonard Davis, OG
Arizona Cardinals

Davis blocked for a Cardinals offense that produced 288 total yards (82 rush/206 pass) in their 20-13 loss at the Chicago Bears. The Arizona offensive line allowed only one sack in the seven-point loss.
Casey Hampton Casey Hampton, DT
Pittsburgh Steelers.

Hampton played but did not record any statistics in the Chiefs' 20-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Shaun Rogers Shaun Rogers, DT
Detroit Lions

Rogers, who started his fourth consecutive contest to open his NFL career, recorded a career-high nine tackles (seven solo) and a pair of sacks in the Lions' 31-26 loss at the Minnesota Vikings. Rogers leads the team with 29 tackles (23 solo) this season.
Ricky Williams

Ricky Williams, RB
New Orleans Saints

Williams, who posted his second consecutive 100-yard game, scored from one yard out as time expired to give the Saints a 27-25 come-from-behind victory at the Carolina Panthers. He carried the ball 31 times for 147 yards and caught four passes for 31 yards in the two-point win. The 1998 Heisman Trophy winner has rushed for 283 yards and a pair of scores and hauled in nine passes for 83 yards during the past two weeks (both victories).
