OT Mike Williams helped the potent Buffalo offense gain 468 yards (437 pass/31 rush) in a thrilling 45-39 overtime victory against the Minnesota Vikings.

PK Phil Dawson connected on a pair of long field goals in Cleveland's 20-7 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. He boomed a career-best 52-yarder in the first quarter and added a 45-yard boot in the fourth. Dawson, who also hit a pair of extra points, is a perfect six-for-six on field goals this season and has converted 21 consecutive field-goal attempts.

OT Blake Brockermeyer and OG Dan Neil paved the way for the Denver RBs to rush for 201 yards on 36 carries (5.6 avg) in a 24-14 win against the San Francisco 49ers.

DE Tony Brackens had four tackles and batted down a pass as Jacksonville topped the Kansas City Chiefs, 23-16.

DB Chris Carter had two special teams tackles in Houston's 27-3 loss to the San Diego Chargers.

RB Priest Holmes ran for 84 yards on 22 carries and added a team-high five receptions for 32 yards in Kansas City's 23-16 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. DB Taje Allen also saw action but registered no statistics.

RB Ricky Williams posted his second straight 100-yard game, rushing for 132 yards on 24 carries as Miami picked up a 21-14 road victory against the Indianapolis Colts. Williams, who also caught two passes for 62 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown, is the first Miami player with back-to-back 100-yard games since Bernie Parmalee in 1994. He's also the first Dolphin to open the season with two 100-yard games since Mark Higgs in 1991.

DT Casey Hampton had one tackle in Pittsburgh's 30-14 loss to the Oakland Raiders.

OG Leonard Davis helped Thomas Jones rush for a career-best 173 yards and one touchdown as the Cardinals stopped the Seattle Seahawks, 24-13. Arizona, which gained 347 yards of total offense, won the first regular-season game at Seahawks Stadium.

DT Shaun Rogers made two tackles, batted down a pass and blocked a field-goal attempt in Detroit's 31-7 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Rogers, who blocked a pair of kicks in his rookie season, broke his thumb in the loss and will have surgery that will keep him out for the next two games.

Seattle Seahawks

LB D.D. Lewis and DT Cedric Woodard both played, but neither recorded any statistics in Seattle's 24-13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
