OT Mike Williams helped Buffalo gain 291 total yards of offense in the Bills' 28-23 loss at the Denver Broncos. Williams' blocking helped make time for Drew Bledsoe, the NFL's leading passer, to throw for 283 yards and a pair of scores.

PK Phil Dawson kicked a 33-yard field goal with 10:47 remaining in overtime to give Cleveland a 31-28 come-from-behind victory at the Tennesse Titans. Dawson also booted four extra points but had his streak of 21 consecutive field goals snapped when he was wide right on a 52-yarder in the second quarter.

OT Blake Brockermeyer and OG Dan Neil helped the Broncos amass 342 yards of total offense in a 28-23 win against the Buffalo Bills. The duo cleared space for rookie RB Clinton Portis, who rushed for a career-best 103 yards and one touchdown.

RB Priest Holmes rushed for a career-high 180 yards and scored three touchdowns (2 rush/1 rec) in Kansas City's wild 41-38 overtime loss at the New England Patriots. Holmes also was the Chiefs' leading receiver with five grabs for 18 yards. He leads the NFL in scoring with 42 points (6 rush TDs/ 1 rec TD) and is second in rushing yards with 386, trailing only former Longhorns teammate and current Miami Doplphin Ricky Williams.

RB Ricky Williams became the first Dolphin to rush for 100 yards in three consecutive games in posting 151 yards on 24 carries in Miami's 30-3 win against the New York Jets. The NFL's leading rusher (394 yards), Williams gained 110 yards in the second half, including a 53-yard touchdown sprint — the longest gain of his four-year career. He added two receptions for 23 yards as the Dolphins snapped an eight-game losing streak to the Jets.
