Holmes ran for 113 yards and two touchdowns
on 16 carries in Kansas City's 49-0 win against the
Arizona Cardinals. Holmes, who added three receptions
for 56 yards, outgained the Cardinals by 47 yards. Holmes
extended his team record for consecutive games with
a rushing score to 10 and tied Greg Bell (Los Angeles
Rams, 1988-89) and Terry Allen (Washington Redskins,
1996) for the sixth-longest streak of consecutive games
with a rushing TD in NFL history. Holmes also registered
his seventh 100-yard rushing game of the season and
14th as a member of the Chiefs, tying Christian Okoye
for the franchise record. Holmes has 634 receiving yards
on the season, breaking his own Chiefs single-season
record for receiving yardage by a RB (614 in 2001).
Holmes leads the NFL in scoring (132), touchdowns (22),
rushing touchdowns (19) and rushing yards (1,322).
