Holmes extended his team record for consecutive games with a rushing score to 11, matching the third-longest streak in NFL history. He also tied a Chiefs record by registering his eighth 100-yard rushing game of the season. It was his 15th 100-yard performance for Kansas City, which broke Christian Okoye's franchise record. Like former Longhorns teammate Ricky Williams, Holmes has topped 100 yards in four straight games. Holmes leads the NFL in rushing touchdowns (21) and total touchdowns (24) — both tied for the third-highest single-season totals in NFL history — and ranks second in rushing (1,454 yards). Holmes also had two catches for 16 yards to break the team's single-season receiving record by a running back with his 68th catch of the season.

Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins
RB Ricky Williams became the first running back in NFL history to rush for at least 216 yards in consecutive games and just the fourth player to rush for at least 200 yards in back-to-back contests in Miami's 27-9 victory against the Chicago Bears on Monday night. Williams ran for 216 yards on 31 carries and scored on touchdown runs of 63 and 15 yards. His rushing total was the second- highest in the 33-year history of Monday Night Football (Bo Jackson, 221 vs. Seattle, 1987) and extended his club single-season record of 100-yard games to eight. Williams, who has run for 440 yards his last two games (No. 4 NFL history) and has topped 100 yards in four straight, leads the NFL in rushing (1,500 yards) and is tied for second in touchdowns (15).
