How do you think you have improved since last season?
"I think I have improved just through better work habits in practice and continuing to work hard."

How do you and the other defensive tackles that you came in with last season get along?
"We get along well. We're like the best of friends. Off the field, we get together and do things like go out to eat and play video games. We just relax and have a good time."

What are some of the things you like to do in your spare time?
"Well, I like to watch SportsCenter and things like that. I take care of business school-wise with the books too. That's the most important thing"

What are some of you favorite things about Austin and being here at UT?
"Austin is definitely a college town. I like the atmosphere and it's not really hard to find your way around."

How did you get your nickname "Big Dibs?"
"I guess it's just short for Dibbles. Since my last name is Dibbles, instead of saying Larry or Dibbles, it was just the quickest and shortest thing to come out. Everybody thought it was neat, so it stuck and that's just what everybody calls me."

Where did the nickname originate?
"I guess you could say it started in high school. I had to come up with something neat. We didn't really want to go by our real names. Everybody had nicknames, so I had to have one too."
