What are your feelings
returning to Houston to play?
It's always fun getting to go home. Last time, we went and played
at U of H, and I was really looking forward to that game. I was
hoping to get some playing time there, because it's in front of
your home crowd and everything else, so I'm really looking forward
to it this time, getting to go back, especially after this game,
and to get back in the saddle in front of the Houston crowd.
What do you think
of playing in Reliant Stadium?
I think Reliant is probably one of the better sporting venues in
the country. I think it'll be a blast playing there. I'm really
looking forward to it. It'll be a lot of fun, and hopefully it'll
be filled with a lot of orange.
What members of your
family will be there?
Everybody is going to be there. You name them. I'll probably have
relatives at that game that I don't even know who are and haven't
seen in 20 years. There will be a lot of people there. The ticket
count is at 28 right now, but there are supposed to more. I'm supposed
to try to find more, but I've only got 28 as of right now.
How special does
it feel to play at home?
It's special getting back, just because you feel like you're back
at home. Austin has become a second home to me, and I've really
enjoyed living here, but anytime I go back to The Woodlands or Houston,
I feel more comfortable. It's hard to explain, but I'm really excited
about getting to go back to those familiar places and being in a
familiar area and getting to play. It'll be a lot of fun, and it's
a big comfort zone coming off the loss to get to go to a place where
you feel comfortable and get back on.
Do you know anyone
who plays for Rice?
I know a couple of the Rice players. A couple of them went to my
high school. Brandon Boyd is one of their linebackers. I grew up
with him, and his dad and my dad went to high school together. I've
known him for a long time, and I look forward to getting to go against
him.
