Minute Drill: Stevie Lee
» Two-Minute Drill archives
Senior DT Stevie Lee is a
physical, tough fifth-year defensive lineman,
who opened the 2004 season as the starter at
right tackle. Lee has played in 42 career games,
registering 51 tackles, seven TFLs, and three
sacks. The Shreveport, La. native recently ran
the Two-Minute Drill with MackBrown-TexasFootball.com.
On his perspective of what the game means to
Arkansas fans:
It means a lot to the people in
Arkansas. I bumped into a few people back home
in Shreveport (La.) and they are pretty excited
about the rivalry being started up again.
On the Arkansas offensive line:
I think they're
very strong. They're coached really well and
they have a good scheme. Most importantly, they're
strong. If they get on you, then they stay on
you.
On last year's loss to Arkansas:
You've got
to be motivated for every game. We lost last
year. They came into our house and broke our
winning streak. We're going to be ready for this
game just like we're ready for every game.
On Arkansas quarterback Matt Jones:
We knew
he was good. He can run. From watching film,
it doesn't look like he's running that fast because
he's so tall and big, but he can get up and go.
We just have to contain him.
On Coach Greg Robinson:
Coach Robinson is a
great coach. He's always going to coach. He never
stops coaching. You see him walking down the
street and he'll probably coach you while you're
walking. He coached us from the beginning to
the end of the game. |
