General Comments:
Practice was great today. I think the guys got great confidence out of the comeback in the second half and our guys are viewing that as a positive to move forward rather than a negative in the first half. They were excited about Kansas today. Kansas is a much better team. They have played better this year than at any time we have seen them. They are very competitive the last two years and Mark [Mangino] has done a great job with them. The other thing that is exciting for us offensively is that we threw the ball much better in practice last week; we threw it well in practice today and we threw it well in the game on Saturday. We are starting to see the receiver and quarterback timing come together. Another thing that is really amazing to think about is that Cedric Benson is only 119 yards away from passing Archie Griffin, Herschel Walker and LaDanian Tomlinson in all-time rushing stats and that is very exciting for our offense.

On Ramonce Taylor:
Ramonce has done a very good job for us and he does want to be called RT because he likes that better. He is a guy that has played tailback, he is a guy who has played wide receiver. He played defensive back in high school so we will just have to see where it goes with his future here. He started a little bit slow in practice and he has really come on and I think his breakout was the pass he threw against Missouri. He had a couple good plays at Colorado. Last week, we were able to get the ball in his hands more and we will continue to do so. Sometimes, some freshman just respond well and come out and go full speed ahead. Others kind of regress a little bit and go into a shell after they get a good start. He was a guy that is behind Erik Hardeman and Selvin [Young] and then when Selvin got hurt we had to push him forward immediately and that was tougher for him because he got the whole thing very quickly. Now, we have been able to help with Will Matthews in there and slow down and take some of the pressure off of him so we are able to get the ball in different ways that get him outside and able to run.

On playing Kansas in Lawrence:
Our guys have seen their film. They saw they were 14-10 with Oklahoma at halftime and into the fourth quarter where they still had a chance to win. They beat Kansas State and they had Nebraska down. They're averaging about 39,000 fans and we feel like with senior day it will be a beautiful day in Lawrence with us coming to town. We're expecting a really good atmosphere and we like playing on the road. Very few guys have been to Lawrence, Kansas, and they can't wait to see the place.
