Tracking Mack

General Comments:
Number one, it's great to have a week off coming into this game because it's such an important game and the season is such a grind. Coaches get tired, kids get tired and this game gets you excited again about this game and the rivalry and the end of the season and all the possibilities that are still out there at the end of the season for both teams. But, I have been impressed with our team. They weren't pleased with how they played at Kansas. They are really impressed with A&M, so it has excited our guys about the game.

On being able to come from behind to beat Oklahoma State and Kansas in consecutive weeks:
When you win them, it in some ways is an adrenaline rush to know that you can because it is so hard to do what these young guys have done the last two weeks. To be able to accomplish that is something that players and coaches look forward to doing and you don't have that a lot in your life and we have had that the last two weeks in a row and that has really helped our football team.

On the BCS picture:
My focus, like our team's focus, has been on A&M because we understand that we wouldn't be in any scenarios in the BCS if we don't beat A&M. I have been around the BCS long enough to understand that it is not about the top eight teams, it is about conference champions and number one and two. There are some other scenarios that get crazy and are hard to understand. I have also been around it long enough to know that there are three more weeks of it and everything will change with all the scenarios that everybody thinks. If everybody had to stand by in three weeks what they are writing this week, they would all get fired anyway. So, I'm not going to worry about it for another two weeks. I am a college football fan this weekend and I'll see what happens. We were sitting here one weekend after we beat A&M and Oklahoma had to lose to Oklahoma State. They couldn't, but they did. Nebraska loses to Colorado and we play Colorado. And, on the day we played, two teams got beat that would put us in the championship picture and we got beat that night. That craziness happened the last week of the season right around the championship week so I think it is way too early to start thinking about the BCS.
