| 12/16/04 Run for the Roses: Jason Glynn
By: Kelley Robins, Media Relations Assistant
How ready are you for this experience?
"I feel like I'm really
ready. I feel like everyone else is really ready. Just for the fact
that we have something to prove because everyone says that we backdoored
our way in. We all want to prove that we deserve to be there."
What have you been doing the last few weeks? What's going on now?
"The
last couple of weeks I've been working out, lifting and studying,
and now that school's out, we have practice in the morning and have
the afternoons off, so I've been relaxing a little bit."
Has all of this truly sunk in yet?
"It hasn't sunk in completely
and it won't. Not as long as there's practice, you feel like you're
still in it. Probably on game day when it's over, it will all sink
in."
How proud are you to have accomplished what no other Texas team
has before?
"I'm excited because it's probably the best way
you could go out as a senior, at the Rose Bowl. The opportunity to
get a Big 12 team in the Rose Bowl doesn't happen very often, it's
pretty neat."
What's the first thing you are looking forward to doing in L.A?
"I
think our hotel is near the Walk of Fame. I'd like to go check that
out."
Are you a beach guy?
"Yeah, I like the beach but I probably
won't be there. I'm not in my beach shape yet." |
