| 12/18/04 Run for the Roses: Michael Huff
It's been a couple of weeks since you found out that Texas was going to the Rose Bowl. Are you still excited?
"We get to play against Michigan in the Rose Bowl. I grew up watching Michigan football. It's just going to be a great match up. It still hasn't sunk in, but once it gets a little closer to game day the more I'll settle down and realize we are playing in the Rose Bowl."
What has the Michigan offense shown you?
"They can score at any time, either throwing it up to Braylon Edwards or handing it off to running back Michael Hart."
Are you excited for the match-up with Braylon Edwards?
"He's the best receiver in the country. He won the Biletnikoff Award. I'm very excited. This is the reason I came to Texas, to go up against the best receivers in the nation. It'll be a great game, a great match-up. All the defensive backs are excited and ready to try to contain him. That's the first thing we knew when we found out we were going to the Rose Bowl, we have to stop Braylon Edwards."
What do you think of their freshman quarterback Chad Henne?
"He's good. He's not playing like a freshman. We know that he still is a freshman but we can't look at it like that."
What have you been doing the last couple of days?
"Sleeping, watching film and just trying to rest. I'm trying to not get too involved in the game yet. The closer we get to game time, I'll get more involved."
