June 26, 2012 "DeLoss Dodds has been at the forefront of these discussions for years, and we're so fortunate to have a president like Bill Powers in the room who supports us and plays a major role in such a significant event. I will defer to him to speak on behalf of The University, but I will say it's an exciting time to be involved in college football. There's more interest and discussion than ever before, and that's a great thing for our sport. We've all wanted to see improvements to the system we had, and in my opinion, we're headed in the right direction."
