Kickoff time for Texas-Ole Miss game announced

AUSTIN, Texas -- The kickoff time for Texas' game at Ole Miss on Sept. 15 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss., has been set for 8:15 p.m. Central and will be televised on ESPN. Texas and Ole Miss have met six times in their history with the Longhorns holding a 5-1 advantage in the series, which was first played at a neutral site in 1912 and most recently in 1966, a 19-0 Texas win in the Bluebonnet Bowl. The last three meetings have all come in bowl games, including a 39-7 win for Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl following the 1957 season, and a 12-7 win for the Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl following the 1961 season. The other two meetings came in Austin in 1914, a 66-7 Texas win, and in 1925, a 25-0 UT win.
