Longhorns fans have two opportunities to get a first-hand look at the Texas Football team and a chance to personally meet the squad as it prepares for its season opener versus Louisiana-Monroe on Sept. 5.
The two open practices will be on Wednesday, Aug. 12, and Thursday, Aug. 13. Both sessions will be held at Frank Denius Fields (corner of 26th Street and Red River) from 7-9 p.m.
However, if practice is moved to the Indoor Practice Facility ("The Bubble") at any point, space limitations prevent the workout from remaining open. Fans are encouraged to park at the Manor Garage located on Dedman Drive across from Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium for the open sessions.
Fan opportunities also include the Texas Two Step: The Ultimate August Autograph Outing, which for the second straight year features both the football and volleyball teams at Gregory Gym. That event starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22. More details will follow on the event, so check back soon to MackBrown-TexasFootball.com.
