For the fourth straight year, The University of Texas ranked first in the annual list of top-selling merchandise institutions by Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), a division of IMG Worldwide.
These rankings represent royalties reported July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009 on all collegiate merchandise sold, of which UT collected $8.8 million. The rest of the top 10 included Florida, Georgia, Louisiana State, Alabama, North Carolina, Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame and Oklahoma.
The top manufacturers list was also released with Nike holding the top spot in apparel licensees and EA Sports number one in non-apparel licensees.
