Two Texas Football games to air on the Longhorn Network in 2012

Aug. 22, 2012

Austin -- Two Texas Football games will air exclusively on the Longhorn Network in 2012, the Big 12 Conference has announced.

The Wyoming game will air at 7 p.m. Central on Saturday, Sept. 1, from Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, and the New Mexico game will air one week later, Sept. 8, also at 7 p.m. Central time and also broadcast from DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium.

The game against Wyoming will mark the fifth meeting between the two teams. Texas leads the all-time series, 4-0, including a 34-7 win in Austin, where the teams last met, in 2010.

Texas last played New Mexico in 1988 when it gained a 47-0 victory at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium. The Longhorns are 2-0 all-time versus the Lobos.
