8:53 (14:56 - 4th Q) - Vondrell McGee's 4-yard TD run was his first of the season and the 13th of his career. It capped off an 11-play, 97-yard scoring drive which used 4:47 on the clock.
8:51 (End of 3rd Q) - Jordan Shipley ended the third quarter with a career-high 180 receiving yards. It ranks seventh on UT's single-game list.
8:50 (End of 3rd Q) - Colt McCoy has thrown for over 300 yards for the 11th time his career to extend a UT school record.
8:22 (11:51 - 3rd Q) - With his 14-yard TD pass to John Chiles, Colt McCoy became the fourth player in Big 12 Conference history to pass for 10,000 or more yards. McCoy trails only Texas Tech's Graham Harrell (15,793), Missouri's Chase Daniel (12,515) and Tech's Kliff Kingsbury (12,429). It was also Chiles' first career TD reception.

8:18 (13:56 - 3rd Q) - Jordan Shipley moved past Tony Jones (1,842) for seventh place on UT's career receiving list. His currently has 1,870 yards.
8:14 (Halftime) - Jordan Shipley's 164 receiving yards in the first half ranks third on UT's list for most first-half receiving yards behind only Tony Jones' 198 yards against Pittsburgh in the 1987 Bluebonnet Bowl and Roy Williams' 180 yards against Kansas in 2000.
8:00 (Halftime) - With his 261 passing yards, Colt McCoy needs just seven yards to become the fourth player in Big 12 Conference history to pass for 10,000 or more yards. McCoy currently trails only Texas Tech's Graham Harrell (15,793), Missouri's Chase Daniel (12,515) and Tech's Kliff Kingsbury (12,429).

5:01 - Texas is looking for its 833 all-time victory in football. Last season, Texas moved ahead of Notre Dame for second place and trails only Michigan (872) in all-time wins. Since Mack Brown arrived in 1998, Texas has moved ahead of Alabama, Notre Dame and Nebraska on the all-time victory chart.

4:52 - ULM's field goal kickers are out on Joe Jamail Field... The Joe Jamail Field goat a makeover during the offseason with the installation of a new FieldTurf playing surface. It was part of UT's $27 million south end zone construction project. The south end zone project included the addition of 4,525 steel bleachers that raised the capacity at football games to 1001,119.
4:41 - It's currently 89 degrees at Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium and the wind is blowing East to West at a pretty good clip.
4:35 - UT begins the season with a 6 p.m. Central game against Louisiana-Monroe. The Longhorns are 96-17-3 (.841) in season opening games. Texas is 75-7-2 (.905) when they open the year at home. Head coach Mack Brown is 10-1 in openers at Texas.
