8:53 (14:56 - 4th Q) - Vondrell McGee's 4-yard TD run was his first of the season and the 13th of his career. It capped off an 11-play, 97-yard scoring drive which used 4:47 on the clock.

8:51 (End of 3rd Q) - Jordan Shipley ended the third quarter with a career-high 180 receiving yards. It ranks seventh on UT's single-game list.

8:50 (End of 3rd Q) - Colt McCoy has thrown for over 300 yards for the 11th time his career to extend a UT school record.

8:22 (11:51 - 3rd Q) - With his 14-yard TD pass to John Chiles, Colt McCoy became the fourth player in Big 12 Conference history to pass for 10,000 or more yards. McCoy trails only Texas Tech's Graham Harrell (15,793), Missouri's Chase Daniel (12,515) and Tech's Kliff Kingsbury (12,429). It was also Chiles' first career TD reception.

8:21 (11:57 - 3rd Q) - Sam Acho's fumble recovery was the first of his career.

8:18 (13:56 - 3rd Q) - Jordan Shipley moved past Tony Jones (1,842) for seventh place on UT's career receiving list. His currently has 1,870 yards.

8:14 (Halftime) - Jordan Shipley's 164 receiving yards in the first half ranks third on UT's list for most first-half receiving yards behind only Tony Jones' 198 yards against Pittsburgh in the 1987 Bluebonnet Bowl and Roy Williams' 180 yards against Kansas in 2000.

8:00 (Halftime) - With his 261 passing yards, Colt McCoy needs just seven yards to become the fourth player in Big 12 Conference history to pass for 10,000 or more yards. McCoy currently trails only Texas Tech's Graham Harrell (15,793), Missouri's Chase Daniel (12,515) and Tech's Kliff Kingsbury (12,429).

7:58 (Halftime) - Jordan Shipley's current receiving yardage total for the game (164) ranks 16th on UT's single-game list.

7:53 (Halftime) - Jordan Shipley ended the first half with 164 receiving yards. It is four yards shy of his career-high, 168 yards against Oklahoma State last season.

7:42  (1:48 - 2nd Q) - Jordan Shipley has his fourth career 100-yard receiving game.

7:37 (2:24 - 2nd Q) - Jordan Shipley's 78-yard TD reception was a career long, topping his 68-yarder against Texas A&M last season. It was his first TD reception of the season and the 21st of his career. It was McCoy's first TD pass of the season and the 86th of his career.

7:33 (3:42- 2nd Q) - Monroe's kickoff return for a TD was UT's 64th non-offensive TD since 1999. The Longhorns rank third in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision in the category, trailing only Virginia Tech (71) and Kansas State (68).

7:13 (9:47 - 2nd Q) - Today's announced attendance is 101,096. It marks a UT record. It is also marks UT's 54th consecutive

7:10 (9:54 - 2nd Q) - D.J. Monroe's 89-yard kickoff return was the first TD of his career. It marked UT's first kickoff return for a TD since Jordan Shipley went 96 yards against Oklahoma last season.

7:01 (11:02 - 2nd Q) - Cody Johnson tied a career-high with his third TD rush of the game. It moved his career total to 15. The drive covered 67 yards on 9 plays, using 3:52 on the clock. Lawrence made his 63rd consecutive PAT.

6:58 (12:55 - 2nd Q) - Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley have now connected on 131 pass completions, tied with Chris Simms and Roy Williams for second on the UT all-time list. The duo trails only the combination of Colt McCoy and Quan Cosby (191).

6:16 (12:56 - 1st Q) - Hunter Lawrence made the extra-point kick for Texas. He is a perfect 61-of-61 in PAT kicks for his career on the Forty Acres.

5:08 - Texas is ranked second in The Associated Press Poll. UT has been ranked in The AP Poll for a UT-record and NCAA-leading 142 consecutive weeks.

5:04 - This is the first meeting between Texas and ULM. Texas is 13-0 against teams from the Sun Belt Conference.

5:01 - Texas is looking for its 833 all-time victory in football. Last season, Texas moved ahead of Notre Dame for second place and trails only Michigan (872) in all-time wins. Since Mack Brown arrived in 1998, Texas has moved ahead of Alabama, Notre Dame and Nebraska on the all-time victory chart.

4:55 - Texas' special teamers have reported to the field for kicking, punting and long-snapping.

4:52  - ULM's field goal kickers are out on Joe Jamail Field... The Joe Jamail Field goat a makeover during the offseason with the installation of a new FieldTurf playing surface. It was part of UT's $27 million south end zone construction project. The south end zone project included the addition of 4,525 steel bleachers that raised the capacity at football games to 1001,119.

4:41 - It's currently 89 degrees at Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium and the wind is blowing East to West at a pretty good clip.

4:35 - UT begins the season with a 6 p.m. Central game against Louisiana-Monroe. The Longhorns are 96-17-3 (.841) in season opening games. Texas is 75-7-2 (.905) when they open the year at home. Head coach Mack Brown is 10-1 in openers at Texas.
