Texas-TCU to play on Thanksgiving Day

AUSTIN, Texas - The first Big 12 Conference meeting between Texas and TCU is set for 6:30 p.m. CDT on Thursday, Nov. 22. The Thanksgiving Day matchup in Austin will be shown nationally on ESPN. The teams last met in 2007 in Austin with the seventh-ranked Longhorns downing No. 19 Horned Frogs, 34-13. Texas holds a 60-20-1 edge in the series. The 17th-ranked Longhorns (1-0) face New Mexico (1-0) at 7 p.m. Saturday at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. The game can be seen on the Longhorn Network or heard over the Longhorn IMG Radio Network. The 20th-ranked Horned Frogs, who joined the Big 12 this season, face Grambling Saturday in their season opener.
