Saturday's Texas Football game at Wyoming televised nationally by the Versus cable network

Sept. 10, 2009

AUSTIN, Texas -- The second-ranked Longhorns’ football game at Wyoming on Saturday will be televised nationally by the Versus TV network at 2:30 p.m. Central.

Versus recently engaged in a contract dispute with DIRECTV and was pulled off DIRECTV on Sept. 1. This could be resolved at any time, but the possibility remains that Saturday’s game will not be available to DIRECTV customers.

This game is televised as part of the Mountain West Conference contract with the Versus network, which purchased the rights to televise select Mountain West Conference games. Since this is a Wyoming home game, rights are owned and controlled by the Mountain West Conference.

The game will be available through other cable-satellite systems, including Time Warner Cable, AT&T U-Verse TV, Comcast Cable and DISH Network. Please click here to find your local Versus providers.
