Nov. 13, 2011

AUSTIN, Texas -- A duo of Texas Longhorns football players received recognition from the College Football Performance Awards for their accomplishments in week 11 against Missouri. He has three career games with at least five tackles for loss including Oklahoma earlier this season (6) and Oklahoma last year (5). He caused a fumble on Missouri's opening possession for his first caused fumble of the year and seventh of his career.

This season, Acho is the team leader in tackles with 85 (39 solo). Acho also has 15 TFL, two sacks, a forced fumble, 11 quarterback pressures and five pass break ups. Acho has been named a semifinalist for the Lott Trophy for the 2011 season as well as a finalist for the Wuerffel Trophy.
