DALLAS, Texas -- The No. 4 Texas Women's Swimming & Diving team capped off the regular season with a 155-139 victory over No. 13 SMU Saturday at the Perkins Natatorium in Dallas.

The Longhorns received outstanding performances from Kelsey Amundsen, Karlee Bispo and Diana Wilcox to help overcome the Mustangs in their home pool.

Amundsen earned her first win of the season with a time of 23.28 in the 50 freestyle. She followed that up with a second place finish in the 100-yard butterfly, coming in with a time of 54.96. She also swam the leading leg on the first place 200 freestyle relay team that clocked a 1:32.74.

Bispo continued her stellar senior season with victories in the 100 freestyle (50.26) and 200 IM (2:01.23). She also had the fastest time in the 50 freestyle (23.17), swimming the race in an exhibition heat and was the anchor leg on the first place 200 freestyle relay group.

Wilcox won both diving events. She scored 269.55 points in the 1-meter to edge teammate Samantha Holland by less than two points for first place. In the 3-meter event, she tallied 278.48 points for the sweep. It was the first time this season she has won either event although she did have the highest score in the prelims of the Texas Invitational.

Two freshmen also won individual events on Saturday. Kaitlin Pawlowicz took the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:00.75 for her first career win in the event. She had placed second in each of her four other tries but was able to best teammate Lauren Ross for the top spot in this one. Kelsey LeNeave captured the other distance event with a time of 4:49.35 in the 500 freestyle to give her two straight wins in the event.
